Robert A. Vort is engaged in civil litigation and arbitration before federal and state courts throughout the country. The Supreme Court of New Jersey has designated him as a certified civil trial attorney.
Mr. Vort's practice encompasses a wide variety of subject areas, including allegations of corporate mismanagement, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, securities arbitration, wrongful discharge, legal malpractice and probate litigation. He also handles many appeals.
Mr. Vort is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, before federal courts of appeal for the Second Circuit (New York), Third Circuit (Philadelphia), Fifth Circuit (New Orleans), Ninth Circuit (San Francisco) and Federal Circuits (Washington, D.C.). Within the past five years he has appeared in United States District Courts for the Southern District of Texas (Houston) and for the Southern District of New York (Manhattan), in the Delaware Court of Chancery and in the Oakland County (Michigan) Court.
